Photos/Photo Retouching

Home

A good photo can do a lot of work on your project. It can grab the viewer's attention, tell a story, or sell a product. Knowing how to set up a shot can save a great deal of time and cost, but sometimes we must work with what's available. On this page are a few examples of both shots I have taken directly, as well as those that needed a little extra effort to meet my clients' needs.

(1/2) This original photo was provided with the request to remove as much damage as possible.
(2/2) The photo was repaired using both the original photo as well as supplemental assets to ensure as accurate an image as possible.

An old photo (left) was provided, with the request to make the photo more casual and contemporary.

This environmental program used several video stills for marketing. The stills needed to be cleaned of video artifacts and color-corrected before use.

A sample of the product had been assembled for photography, but the manufacturer updated the specs later on. Rather than build another sample, the revised components were photographed separately and then added to the original image.

This photo was to be used as a promotional portrait of the horse. The tie line and other miscellaneous details needed to be cleaned up, while leaving the overall photo as natural-looking as possible.
